Alice Miller BDS Dip.MFGDP(UK) MCGDent
Based in Scotland as a GDP for 31 years, 18 of those as a Practice Owner. Alice is a Vocational Training Advisor and Assistant Postgraduate Dental Dean with NHS Education Scotland. She has been a Vocational Trainer, Dental Practice Advisor with a territorial Health Board and a Clinical supervisor at Edinburgh University. “Jack of all trades” springs to mind!
Alice’s first foray into IPC involved membership of the Glennie Group and chairing the SDCEP Decontamination subgroup as it developed the Decontamination into Practice series. Alice is not a technical expert, but brings a pragmatic lived experience of both working at the coalface, trying to implement guidance in an economically sustainable manner and an understanding of the issues at play whilst developing said guidance.
