Visit historic Newcastle Castle, just a seven-minute walk from the hotel. The site comprises the 12thcentury stone fortress, the Castle Keep and the Black Gate, which was a later addition. You can wander through centuries-old passageways and discover royal chambers once occupied by kings. Displays along the way recount the castle’s history, through Roman and medieval times to the modern day. The city centre shops and nightlife are within a short walk too!
The closest car park is Stephenson Quarter Car Park located on Forth Street behind the hotel. Car parking is subsidised to £12 per 24 hours for hotel guests. Please ensure a ticket is collected from the hotel reception to validate your parking token.
